Healthy Halloween Tips from Decatur Jazzercise
Jazzercise Founder and CEO Judi Sheppard Missett offers tips to celebrate the spooktacular holiday without promoting obesity and tooth decay.

Procrastinate: Buy the treats to give out at the last minute to keep temptation at bay.

* Not your favorites: choose treats that are not on your or your family's favorite list.
* Hand our healthier treat: pretzels, granola bars, raisins.
* Give out nonfood treats: glow sticks, rub on tattoos, toy spiders.
* Fill up before trick or treating: less candy consumed en route that way.
* Set limits on candy consumption: have a candy policy - one piece after a healthy meal. And don't forget to brush!
