Falling out of shape? Tips to fall back in from Jazzercise
Taking a break from your fitness program for a few days is a healthy choice, however if you take a longer break you’ll lose 10% of your aerobic capacity after only two weeks of inactivity.

If you take a break lasting more than 6-8 weeks, you’re back to square 1. Here’s the good news: If you were in good shape prior to taking your break, then you’re much better off than those who have never exercised.

The best way to get back on track is to simply start moving. You may not be able to push yourself to the same difficulty level as you once did, so start at your current ability level and gradually increase - Jazzercise-East Decatur Station!

Fall Is In The Air!
It's been a long hot summer and now that the kids are back in school and football is in full swing it's time to get prepared for the heating season.

This year a furnace tune up is only $89.00 and includes one standard filter. We are so sure that tuning up your furnace will provide safer more dependable operation that if your furnace should break down this heating season we will credit the full $89.00 toward the cost of repair.

Senior Connections Runs First Text Campaign for Grandparents' Day
In honor of National Grandparents Day (September 12, 2010), Senior Connections, one of the area’s largest non-profit agencies providing services to seniors, is running a month-long text campaign. As a tribute to your grandparents, text the word “Grand” to 20222 on your cell phone and donate $10.

Your donation is enough to pay for two meals – and Senior Connections is all about meals: almost 15,000 of them are made in our kitchens weekly. The need is great: 8,000 plus DeKalb County seniors are at risk for hunger daily. Our "Grand Connection" campaign runs throughout the month of September. So make a donation and then go hug a grandparent!
