Submissions are accepted on a first come, first served basis, limited to 15 submissions per newsletter. Newsletters are published on the first and the third Thursdays of each month, so submissions are due by the end of business the Monday prior to distribution.

Please note that graphic files are limited to no more than 250 pixels in any dimension (width or height) and must be 72 dpi, in .JPG or .GIF format. Images that exceed these parameters cannot be accepted.

CORE Offering Fun, Fitness & Dance Classes
CORE offers 'Fun, Fitness & Dance' classes at CORE Studios in Decatur starting on February 27.

Come sweat some stress away! It’s the fun way to fill your fitness quotient. During lunch break and after work, CORE will be offering a variety of classes for you to jump in to and get a workout. Members of our professional company, CORE Performance Company, and some other CORE friends will be teaching classes beginning February 27. We are offering a drop-in rate of $15 or you can register on our website before the first day of class and get a great discount on each six-week class series.

Decatur Housing Authority 2012 Annual Community Yard Sale
The Decatur Housing Authority announces our annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday, March 24 from 12pm-4pm at the Decatur Resource Center at 481 Electric Ave.

We are encouraging all community residents, organizations, businesses, and agencies to purchase a table for this event. If you are interested in purchasing a table, please contact Carolyn Walters at or 404-373-4491 ext.10.

Table prices are $20 and all tables must be purchased by Friday, March 17.
